This ‘Reserve Selection’ Shiraz shows beautiful purity of aromatic red berry fruit, great structure and lovely complexity! A truly fine wine – worthy of the cellar.
The fruit was sourced from a highly regarded vineyard in the Hilltops region. It was picked late-March with an average Baume of 13.5.
After picking, most of the fruit was crushed and destemmed into open top fermenters and hand plunged. Once pressed the wine was matured for 11 months in a mixture of 1-3 year old French barriques.
This beautifully structured wine from a great vintage has all the depth and concentration required to age gracefully over the next 10 years.
The complex, savoury nature of this wine will pair well with rich meat and game dishes and full flavoured cheese.
